Bit odd really isn't it.

It will either be incredibly awesome or a complete fail.

hmmm

Nick Warren played last/headlined at a big Wellington thing at the Basin Reserve last summer and it completely failed.

Pitty psychedelic music isn't bigger in NZ as it works so well outdoors and at festivals.

Fuk yes! NZ totally fails at embracing the psy sound for outdoors.

So often Dj's just bang out the same Electro and Trance crap they play indoors which is really music that is designed to played within the confines of four walls.

When we used to play outdoor sets we used to select very different tunes to those which we played in the clubs.

There are some good outdoor parties downn in Chch from time to time.

Yeah definitely! Outdoor gigs = psy, US progressive, dub tings and tribal business. It should be about big drums, drivers and chuggers not wafty hands-in-the-air anthems imo Music

Sasha ripped it up at Chines Laundry last weekend...brilliant set...pumping progressive trance at some points...more akin to GU9, which was what i was silently hoping for but assumed he'd play nothing like.

Seriously if I hear any more about his Australian sets I'm going to have start cutting myself or some shit.

Couldn't make it to the Melbourne edition. Neutral

it failed because he played a boring set. people were there and keen to hear, sadly its the second time locals have wiped the floor with him in recent years. insanity made him look like a hack at sandwiches a few years back.

bdo will be interesting im sure, aint my cup of tea though so as much as id like to catch sasha play again, it wont be this time round.

Nick Warren was at his best when he was belting out big room trance and progressive ala his first gig at Ellerslie and then again at The Civic Wintergarden. He is indeed boring when he goes all experimental and stuff.

Warren was here for the last Future Music Festival wasn't he (200Cool? That set was a blinder from memory.
