Over the course of the weekend falling on Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of August, Sandwiches will be celebrating five years of heaving euphoric dance floors, five years of bringing you the best dj's and live acts New Zealand and the rest of the world has to offer, five years in which Wellington has solidified it's status as an international hot spot within the who's who of the global dance music community.
Heading up the Friday night festivities is renowned English DJ Dick 'Magik' Johnson, now based in Auckland. A man whose name has been indelibly marked upon the history books of House music worldwide. 'Magik' will be suitably assisted behind the decks by venue owners Bryce and Wade, and the Sandwiches lounge bar residents.
Saturday night sees a flip of style with acclaimed New Zealand drum and bass producer/dj Agent Alvin stepping to the forefront, with support from Bass Frontiers own OG heavy hitters DDog and Sal alongside JDM and Stonya as well as appearances from leading Wellington club dj's Dunsta, Marek and Takaz.
