I got given a few ticket to Eden park tomorrow, so i am off to watch the opening ceremony & game.

At home, it appears we have a few people coming over for the event.

Making myself all pretty for Nick Warren and Luke Fair...can't even watch it live on Free To Air here...Channel 9 has the rights, but in NSW and QLD it's showing NRL instead, Victoria doesn't even get that, we get a Scooby Doo movie!

Heh, going to the game but got a family friend's yacht berthed on the viaduct filled with booze so gonna try get down there too at some point \

Of course these plans are also going to have to make some room for the mighty *Clipper's leaving drinks that night too

We've got a function at work which im attending. Great views of party central and the fireworks, free booze, big screens etc. I might wander down to party central for a look before all the opening ceremony starts.

I'll be watching it in enemy territory where the concept of the rugby world cup was born 28 years ago - The Rugby Club... . Not nearly as good as being back home but meh, will be back for the semi's and final.. It looks like AKL is going off at the moment!!!

Somewhere on Quay St no doubt.. have work till 5 so pretty sure Queens Wharf will be full by the time I get down there.

I'm going to work later than everyone else till say 5 and then walk slowly home and suck up the atmosphere along the way

Will be at Eden Park .. 'working' for about an hour in the pavilion before the opening ceremony then will be enjoying the game from one of the boxes. Its been a big 7 months of hard work... can't believe its kick off tomorrow!

I'm in front of Telly house and got fire cranking. Bottle of Shiraz is slowly being depleted. Can't wait for fire works
