Running into randoms???

Who else has randomly run into people they haven't seen in ages, in the most random of overseas places?

First day on the floor at my new job and I ran into a chick from my design course at uni in dunedin. We couldn't figure out where the hell from, for about 4 hours. she's a kiwi, from dunedin, but older, and has just moved to aussie a few months ago after travelling the world.

Ran into a couple of guys from school, at the gym, at the airport.

And a former flatmate of a friend about 5 months ago at the local pub.


Who else?

I must have run into about 20 people since I've been here.

*Brett (screwu) - I used to work with him for years in Aucks

*Zebedee and Co.

*About 10 people I used to go to school with

*Random people I knew from clubbing in Aucks

*People I went to primary school with in Cape Town

*My ex fiances friends

The list goes on...

the last day we were in aussie me and nat were on bondi and who would be sitting right behind us but her old flatmates who moved back to england last year!


and i didnt know that ben was going to aus and ran in to him on bondi before i found out you knew him too graphy

and also ran in to my mate jamie in manly - random!

I got called out to at by a biggie chick at Bondi once.. It was very scary

and twice I have bumped into a guy I had a brief ancounter with back in high school...
The first thing he said was "Hi, you never called me back"

since ive been in syd ive come across 4 people I know from back home.

Now I come from little ol Palmy, not exactly the biggest city in nz!

1 I saw at the Bondi markets the other 4 have been on george st in the city all on seperate occasions.

Best keep an eye on Nexus then Addict. Its proving a good way to touch base with people overseas, and plan for a easier start when you get there.

Just found out a week or so ago that one of the guys at my work grew up about 100 metres from me.

I arrived in London on Saturday, on Sunday i ran into a guy i
flatted with for 2 years while i was at Uni! Turns out he lives
1 door up from where i'm staying in West Hampstead!

WAY TOO SMALL WORLD!

I went to Ibiza a couple of years ago, and at about 3am in the morning in the main room at Space, i bumped into a group of 10 people from my high school that i hadn't seen in about 8 years.

I worked for 9 weeks in sydney last time I was here over a year ago.

today I ran into one of the guys I worked with, he lives just down the road in my suburb, and he lives with another guy who I worked with also

and.... another guy I worked with there apparently lives 100m away from me but I dont know where exactly

this is starting to get creepy
