Hey just bought a 1973 Mitsi Galant GS, am keen to find out some info about rotary engines, any good sites, forums that you guys know of?

I'm really keen to hear how you get on with N/A rotaries and the exhaust laws these days.

N/A rotaries are good transplants if you have a limited budget, but if you are really serious go for a rotary turbo, they make good power and very lightweight.

Nah, if your keen for an NA rotary go for it, NA rotaries aren't about the power even though you can get 350BHP out of a 13BPP, all about the noise and instant performance

plus they are soo easy to work on its not funny.

yeah for sure, i wasnt trying to discourage getting a N/A rotary, but its def. an aquired taste

an aquired taste is definitely the best way to put it, I aquired it in a 323 wagon with a race prepped 12A bridgey, that thing rocked, had solid engine mounts and shook like fuck, in a word, mean.

yeah theres nothing like the throb of a well built bridgey. Never owned one (the s5 is my first rotary), but have been for rides, and should have taken clean undies....

know what you mean, one of my crazier mates is building up a second hand (handgrenade) 12A J-port, should be interesting

i dont know if you have seen high octane 4, but at the start of that it has a prime example of a fast rx7.. its pretty insane and built well!
