He is da bomb, as they say. 'Witness the Fitness' is one of my favourite hip hop tracks of all time (great video too), was well stoked when Craze dropped it at his St. James gig. He's on the Big Dada label, which i think is a sub label of the mighty Ninja Tunes.

I also saw one of the mcs over @ preshas set. presha was running 15min late due to sound difficulties but being the top bloke he is he let the mc rhyme over his beats. p-money comes on and that dude from roots manuva is still rambling so p-money goes up to him and says 'dude im running 15min late in my set, can you please step off' hahaha no rest of the wicked.

but yes i like roots manuva a lot, uk hiphop has some substance, and its lighter so i like it a lot.

Takin a different approach to the beats is always nice, especially when it gets away from the usuall US based stuff. UK hiphops come a long way.

X-press - if you were lucky enough to catch the set Die played the night befor BDO 2001 , MC Dynamite handed over the Mic to Mr Roots Manuva himself for a blast - pure excellence .

he makes most of his own beats too. badest emcee outside of JA at the moment.
