road trips!

anyone going 2 paihia, whangamata, the mount etc these hoildays? me and my freind r going sumwhere near a beach but dont kno where yet. ideas ppl?

whangamata is the SHIT for new years!

lots of guys and girls wanting to hook up or even to have a choice as time....good beach parties same also with the mount but i would way prefer whangamata but personal opinion

i'm goin with like 20 of my 7th form mates to whangamata for new years and staying over 5 nights or so in a camp ground where only teens are staying and where families are apparently not allowed to go o until after NY's

thats hell cool we mite not decide where we r going (either whangamata or paihia) until the day we leave, so do u think we can just show up? and still b able 2 get sumwhere 2 stay?

cum to omaha , it can be quite cool in the holidays, but paihia was quite cool last new years went to that export party that was cool

Miss Cherry, try and get down to Cathedral Cove for a really good sunrise, make that super special. For something spiritual or slightly magical head down to Karekare for some superb nature, but watch out for little black cats.

That place is shit!! back in the years when not many people knew about it was sweet as until, shit loads of people flocked to it. Now its always convered in pigs!! so yea dont go there come down to Wellington theres afew dance parties happening and its gona rock!!

well there are other events in wellington during that time for underage ppls, but i duno how much n were it is, most likely to be at the Quees Warf.

Dont go to mount its so crap i been last 3 years gets more boring every year and your bound to get beaten up for no reason by sum drunk chick.

yeah we heard the mount was supposed 2 b good last year so we went and it was ok but sorta boring. everybodys talking abt paihia so we r trying 2 decide between there and whangamata......wot u think ppl?

i think sum one should just have a big house party that would be the best, paihia was ok last year but the bands rnt that great this year and then theres the hassel of snecking in all of your piss into the concert. so yeah housse parrty.

well.. i think everyone should come up to Whananaki, now your probably thinking where the hell is that?.. umm well its about umm 3hrs drive from auckland heading north! theres this mint as beach, with huuge waves, lots of people.. who sit around on the sand, sunbathe, relax, drink beer, surf, eat, sleep, party,, all day and night for as long as they stay there for. RAther repetitive, but its okay.. i'll probably be going there..but if something better comes up in the meantime.. welll i'll be considering my options.

Miss C - out of your options, i would personally choose, to go to Whangamata, rather than Paihia.. i never been to either for NY, so i cant really talk. But i just rekon Paihia will be crappy.. i can just picture it now.. cold, wet, muddy, grose, cold, lots of ugly drunk old slezy men trying to score, and the music isnt even that great. (no offence to NZ bands or nothing) SO yeah go to Whangamata, should be nice and sunny, hot, lovely, nice people, nice music *if there is any* and yeah... and theres a nice beach with waves! =D
