Try and name as many remakes you can and the opinion if you think the remake was sucessful or not.

1) D-childs Emotion - fail , don't think the three of their voices can compensate the voice of Sang.
2)Instrumental back ground from Rapture by Blonde in Krs 1 Step into a world.. twas good
3)The new jennifer Lopez's aint it funny "nananana" can't place where i have heard the instrumentals from
4) "when the night as come, when the night has come and the land is dark- MOST ANNOYIN repeatitive shit ever
5).............

Its late and i can't think of anymore, but i can recall a time where there were alot of remakes being done.

Hiphop is full of remakes with samples. Most of it has been sampled from the soul/funk era

No i'm just lazy and this link is filled with knowledge - I could've gone on and on and on if I didn't put it down.

Yeah, theres some album out with a bunch of newish tunes then the records they sampled. I think thats where soundsnz is quoting from, unless they have freakish memory/tune recognising abilities Smile.

My favourite would have to be the Jay-z track which uses the doors - 'the takeover' I believe.
[quote]
Oh yeah the Takeover - it uses the Doors sample for his NAS diss.

Yes I am quoting from Sampled...although I do have freakish tune recognising abilities Wink...you should check out the tracklisting on that CD though..it is really interesting - some more = Barry White : It's Ecstasy = Robbie Williams : Rock DJ, even Bolivar Merengue = Basement Jaxx : Bingo Bango..
