Reach for the lasers

What DANCE clubs in Auckland have a laser display? I honestly can not think of one or have not found one. Although I "hear" showgirls has one.

haha that isnt all show girls has yea im a lights man myself with the lack of lights around the palce i bought sum fire flyz thats the best i can say. what do ppl think of these when it comes to lights and clubbing i feel like a little kid but i love my fire flyz

I saw that Jones had a small one last Sat night. I've seen one at Sinner once. And I think I recall another small laser at the Slinky after party at bEd (its probably all the same one).

Seen a very small pathetic excuse for a lazer at the all ages club here in rotorua. but like i said its pretty crap.

Saw my first laser at dark forces the other weekend. I felt like the cave man who had just discovered fire! - Found it intimidating,yet facinating. I wanted to touch it, but I couldn't Definatly very cool though. Has anyone ever seen them directed at disco balls? I'll bet that'd be fantastic (mabey dangerous thou?)

Yep, nothing like a couple of lasers shot into a big cluster of mirror balls.

that's the problem with a lot of local clubs. they're not trying to inpress u cause they're there every weekend, unlike dance parties. i think if a club actually started usingbetter lighting displays their numbers would surely increase.

If your going to a OGA event in the future do not even expect to see one, they aparently have a dislike of lasers as I have yet to see one at any major event they have run.

Gatecrasher at St James last time had one, looked pretty good, but the St James isn't the best room to show one off in.

Innerphase always does a good laser show.....
They'll be rocking UNITY although i cant
remember which lasers they will be bringing...
They blow everyone away at destination each
year (unbelievable venue) and you've probably
seen them at the gathering

Also for those wondering where the all the good
lasers are...they cost between 50 and 200
grand..hence the shortage...you can also then
imagine the rental on one....

bring back the brain and lagered!!! they always had a decent laser display!!! and it was fun dancing with the kids!! (no offence under 18's)

Forest - those fire flyz, are they the little lights on your thumb thingy's??? I love those things, you get to turn ya self into a mobile lightshow, fun!! Where do you get em, how much are they?

Fire flyz are very cool except when people intentionally shine them at close range in my face a dazzle me, not always fun. At the last Slinky there were a group of people dancing really sexy with each other "painting" themselves and each other in light from there hand held lights. It was a great show to accompany the music.

But you still can not beat a HUGE laser.Like they say "Reach for the lasers, safe as .......

The observatory @ One Tree(?) Hill do wikkid laser displays. Some promoter shud get dem involved

Sinners had a green one about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It was mad, wicked to dance in/under/through !

We need some colour laser's combined with colour strobes and focused onto a large string of mirror balls and screens.
Anyone seen the light show at the Fridge in London?
Closest i can think of here would be industry or Tiesto last year

Mirror balls are so wicked!! Went to bed a few weeks ago and was fully tripping out on their mirror balls when the lights were hitting the balls and making thousands of little stars all over the roof - wicked!!

On another 'laser light show' kind of note...im thinking of finding a big guy folks display this weekend, buzzing out and watching the display - that'd be kinda cool!!

Cypher used to have a wikked green laser. Like the one that they had at the last GC, doing the flat layers and the cool tubes... but is was quite a while ago.

Jones seem to have a permanent one now, although its not for the dancefloor? quite cool when you come out of the bathrooms though. 153 k'rd (forgotten what it was called) the pool hall had 2 one at each end. Was especially cool at Discotech 1 or 2 (?) was a bit gross with the sweat dripping from the ceiling.

All I remember from the last GC was Large speakers with BIG pills floating out of them on the screens, it was very relaxing to watch. I do vaugely remember a green laser also but the screen was more mezmorizing at the time. And watching my friends pretend to catch them in their mouths as they flew towards us, what a crackup.

Yeah derelict, I remember the one at Sinners now. I wasn't entirly sure whether it was real or I was imaginging it. It was all along the ceiling wasn't it?

For a top laser show I heard shoygirls is the place to go, haven't seen them myself though.
