Sunday 29th May 2005 Radio Forplay is to go on air in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty on 88.7 fm.
This new local radio station will be run and supported by locals and talented experienced DJ’s, proudly promoting and exposing New Zealand homegrown music and also focusing on some of the world’s finest producers, artists and labels and also largely influenced on the culture and people that surround the music scene both locally and globally.
There will be shows consisting of Hip Hop, Dub & Reggae, Breakbeat, Drum’n’Bass, House, Progressive House…. and an enormous variety of other genres will be playing on air throughout the day.
