BIO
In the beginning there was HOUSE music…
And way back when Wade Marriner discovered his passion for the honeyed anthems of that and he has never looked back!
Finding himself made redundant after his move to Auckland, rather than let the walls come tumbling down, Wade decided he would pump up the VOLUME, fill a few floors and raise a roof or two as a DJ/ Event planner instead, also launching one of the fastest growing house event labels.. ‘I Still Love House Music’
Frequently found playing everything from Ministry of Sound to Get Physical tunes in many of the most iconic Auckland clubs, as well as filling in as a guest DJ for George FM post hosting the Boosh FM Breakfast Show. He has used his musical background and marketing expertise combination also to become a recognised face in the hyper fast paced urban nightlife scene over the past few years.
With a self confessed addiction to the Big-Room House sound, as well as a penchant for boundary pushing with all things funky, progressive and tech; Wade chooses whichever suits and compliments the Internationals and events he promotes and participates with.
Wade is a solid addition to any line-up; whether it be as a warm up or wrap-up you’ll want him to be there.
Now regularly involved with established New Zealand Dance party names; Our:House, Chemistry, Fierce Angel, FTM, SHE, Supernova, Playground to name a few. Wade has also held numerous residencies and played events in reputable clubs from the Town Hall, Ellerslie Race Course, Bungalow8, Carpark, Club 324, Studio, Sponge, Trench, Mesh, Met & Code, Ink & Coherent, the list goes on.
He has also supported Internationals as diverse as…
Ian Carey, Fedde le Grand, Nic Fanciulli, Fred Falke, Marco Demark, Mark Doyle, Peyton, Stimming, Dave 54, Graham Cordery, Klaus Hill, Surkin, Claudia Cazacu to name but a few
2010 is already proving to be a promising year for Wade who is consolidating his behind the decks experience with an added focus on honing production skills and working with other local producers such as Kyle Bourke & Justin Sane whilst additionally studying Electronic Music Production at MAINZ
