JUICED!!
Saturday 10th December - Saint James Complex (Regent)

If you have any questions regarding Juiced, please place them here and we'll endeavour to answer them as soon as possible..

Commonly asked questions:

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets should be on sale by the end of next week.

I want to see [ Fresco DJ B ] and [ Juiced DJ B ] but their time slots may conflict?
Never fear, we've taken into consideration you may want to see one DJ, whilst another is playing - and that's why we've set up the timetables offset by 30 minutes.. That means if Darkmain is on at 11:30-12:30, B-Line will be on at 10:30-11:30, so you can catch the last 30 minutes of B-Line's set, and then jump into the Fresco Zone to catch the beginning of Darkmain's set.

I can print my ticket online? Can't my friend just copy the ticket too?
First authorised bar code gets entry when scanned, the second get's denied. Make sure if they copied your ticket, you're the first to get entry - because you don't want to fit the doorsale price, or if sold out risk not getting in at all!

How do I win the Boost Mobile?

Details announced shortly.. It'll be as easy!

What else is up for grabs?

Heaps!! We've got so much stuff we need to work out ways to give it all away! Feel free to suggest ideas for competitions!

When does it start / end?

The whole thing kicks off at 8PM and ends at 3AM.

Why does it finish so early?

We've thought about it long and hard - and we've decided that everyone deserves a chance to go to the big gigs and still see the main acts! Since our market research proves the average teenager's curfew is midnight, we've made sure that they get at least 3-4 hours worth of fun in and can still be picked up by their parents. The more people the better, right? Smile

Do buses leave and arrive right outside the Saint James Complex?
That's correct, however not ALL buses do. Check out www.rideline.co.nz and type in "St James Theatre" as your destination, (from where you are) and it'll show you exactly how to get there, how much it'll cost and IF any walking is involved, a map of how to get there by foot.

It is highly unlikely you'll need to walk very far as the two main stops are the Saint James and the Civic.. both within 100meters of each other!

I heard you're giving away free ear plugs to people at your gig?
Heh, maybe. We're still weighing it up. We are hiring a serious sound system - in fact, everything we're doing with Juiced is serious, from lighting, to visuals (an experience like you've never seen before), live cameras, photo booth, the list keeps going.. It all comes down to cost, if we can find an affordable source, it is in our best interests to either provide them extremely cheaply, or if cheap enough provide them for free to our customers!

How big is the Saint James Complex's Regent?
Easily a comfortable 900-1000 people (about twice the size of the Power Station). As you know in the past we've always taken cooling into consideration, and as per usual we will definitely be providing plenty of serious Hire-Pool Fan action. We may even hand out some iceblocks for free Wink

My parents don't understand what this is all about but I really want to come, they want to speak with the organisers about safety precautions, fire exits, venue capacity, strobes etc.. Who can they contact?

They are more than welcome to contact Kris Hyman via e-mail on info@centralpromotions.co.nz. He is more than happy to explain policies, precautions and and answer any queries they may have. PM "Sdriver" or "Sasquatch", or send Kris an e-mail (as stated above) if you'd like a phone number to call for more information.

If you have anymore questions.. please feel free to ask here.. Smile

When are flyers available?0
Flyers will be available next week. Just send an e-mail to info@centralpromotions.co.nz to arrange a suitable time to pick some up.

I want to be a promoter for my school, how do I arrange this?
If you're interested in being a promoter for your school (and there's definitely a reward in store for those who help out) - make sure you let us know in an e-mail and we'll arrange a time to catch up and we'll hook you up with an info pack + flyers etc.

What are the drink/coat check prices looking like? Confused
[quote]
Drinks are unknown at this point in time, I assume they'll be fairly reasonable. $2-$3.

Coat check will be available, and will be $2.

Cheers for the Q's Matt!

will craze be playing both a hip hop and dnb set?

seperately or one after the other?

Cool
[quote]
Craze has been told to rinse the dnb at Juiced - but is welcome to drop the occasional and almost commercial hip hop anthem here and there much like Funkshun, B-Line & Page-3 are very well known for doing.

Obviously he won't approach that conventionally by dropping any tracks.. instead, he'll probably beat juggle his own hip hop tune in the middle of a set just to wow everybody.. hahaha Very Happy

How many presale tickets are available?
We've set the tickets to venue capacity. When tickets sell out, door sales will not be available. If we sell 700 tickets, then another 400 people turn up on the night. Firstly, the 700 walk straight in (as ticket holders). Then the first 300 of 400 people, will be allowed in at the hefty doorsale rate (which is why you should buy a ticket!). The remaining 100 unlucky people will be turned away.

We'll be keeping everyone up to date on the status of ticket sales Smile
