I am looking to do something about my crappy posture and believe the best place to start would be a professional... but who and what sort? Not knowing much about this health game I'm a bit out of my depth. Am I in need of a physiotherapist? Or would a fittness trainer be a perfectly fine first port of call? The posture problem is not due to any genetic defects as such, more laziness and unawareness of habit.. things I do believe can be fixed with corrective exercise and perseverance. Any help muchly liked. Ta.

Palates and yoga are your friends. Wink

For posture, Yoga is most certainly NOT your friend.

Pilates is basically a re-balancing of your body's posture. It's what it really is. So it's perfect for postural reform.
Make sure you go to a proper pilates studio, and not a cowboy/girl - that shit will screw you up even worse.
