I've just heard that police are now looking for nudiests at public beaches. They showed a clip on tv with some guy, trying to pull his pants on as a cop was yelling "Hey you, get your gears on".


Surely the cops have better things to do than go around looking for naked people.

Well I guess there would be no shortage of cops wanting to take on that role of work

There have been reports of nudiests exposing themselves to children and one guy masterbating on the beach hence the reason for the crack down.

I saw it on the news too sunshine and the way it was portrayed on the news made it sounds like a fucken waste of tax payers money - haveing the police "undercover" on the beach to catch innocent nudy's. But when you look at it in the light of the whole masterbation/exposure viewpoint guess it's a legitimate use of police time.

I have a friend who said The Police came around to her place at 3am the other morning to tell he that her flat mate had passed out down the street, and was in a ditch on the side of the road. The took him home, and were so kind and helpful...

I know a lot of people dont like the police, esp in here, but we only ever really see on the news about them in a bad way "Police arrest 10 people..." or "Police used too much force on..."

Now even though I hate the Police when I get one of my many speeding tickets, I think there is also a lot that they have to go through, like scraping people up from the road or things like that, telling parents that their kid just got killed in a car crash... we should also appreciate what they do.

We tend to have a good view of police in here because we are generally in a group that police treat well. Other groups are not treated so well. Personally I have never had a bad experience with police but know many people who have had. I do agree with it being a shite job though.
