POLE FOLDER (BELGIUM):
Much like the film of the same name, 2001 was a Space Odyssey for the Progressive scene… Belgium’s Pole Folder was introduced to the world with his debut single 'Apollo Vibes' becoming a genre defining classic in the years that have passed since.
From there, EP and single projects followed whilst Pole Folder spent much of the next two years focusing on an artist album he had been commissioned to do by John Digweed, making him the first artist to produce an artist album for the prestigious Bedrock label -which earned critical acclaim all across the world.
It's testament to his ability that tracks from the album have been licensed for use popular shows such as 'Nip/Tuck' and 'CSI', such is the broad appeal of the music Pole Folder creates. Many other sync requests having since followed, as recognition of Pole Folder’s credentials as an extremely competent and versatile producer expands further.
In the live arena, Pole Folder's career as a DJ and live artist continues to grow and has seen him perform everywhere since 2003 from Europe to America and Asia, with such places as Miami, Moscow, Monaco, Tokyo and Buenos Aires. This continues to increase week on week, with an ever growing schedule of live shows, DJ gigs and tours.
The next chapter in Pole Folder's career as a DJ and producer includes the expansion of his live shows to include keyboard and guitars, as well as the release of his first mixed compilation “Destinationsâ€.

HABEBE (BRISBANE):
The name Habebe is synonymous with house music in Brisbane. Since joining the late night scene some five years ago, he has been sending the music he loves through the ears and bodies of club and festival goers alike week-in, week-out, in the process establishing himself as one of the hardest working major players in his home city’s rapidly expanding dance music landscape.
Habebe is one of a select few Brisbane DJs who garners as much respect from the underground clubbing fraternity as he does from the dance music mainstream, due in part to his upfront track selection and his unwavering dedication to the big room progressive sound he’s favoured since his early inroads into the scene in 2002.
“Without sounding cocky, I really plan to try and put on a better show than the international DJ’s that I get to play after,†Habebe told Time Off Magazine early in 2007, a challenge even more daunting than it sounds on paper when you consider the calibre of DJs he’s shared a mixer with.
From his very first night at Family supporting Richard, his list of support slots is like an international house music who’s who. Names like Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Dave Seaman, Thomas Schumacher, Steve Angello, Trentemoller and D.Ramirez cover the full spectrum of house music, and the challenge of trying to match the skill and style of these global heavyweights is something that continues to drive Habebe’s development as a DJ.
“I think confidence is something that the crowd really sees and responds to,†Habebe declares, and with that confidence on board it’s not surprising Habebe rocks any floor put before him.
