Staying home for a few weeks. I've done a bajillion miles of travel this year, so looking forward to hanging around home.

Lunch with the family. Im on the dole so it's all I can do. There will be some laughs; my sadistic mother, my fruedian father, my faggot brother and his gold digging fiance. We even have a guest so broken arsed solo mum who has befriended us, she's probably gold digging too. Have fun auckland clubbers, spend your secret money and fuck your selves.

Me well Im working through and dont hve any hardcore fun NY plans and Im super content with being able to just chill out and do whatever ....Christmas just having lunch at my place with my family its gonna be great cant wait to have a good feed and see my daughter lose her mind with all the pressies ...

Ahhh I'm back in Auckland seeing my family for Xmas, will be going to see Shapeshifter on the 29th in Matakana and umm some thing called Stereodays for NYE. Spending my time between Auckland and up North with a bit of hear and there in between.

Oh I noticed the whole train system is shutting down too... which screws up my plans a bit...

yeh thats right PD, tho there will be replacement buses. it does seem hard to like public transport when it lets you down so much.
me , I fly out on Sat for QLDfor 5 days. Xmas with the family. back for seeing in 2012 tho.
so looking forward to a couple of weeks off work, has been too full on lately, you would think 10 months after the quake the claims would be sorted but not even close, there are still thousands.

Gosh I am so very boring this year!

Christmas day is at home with Mum and the little man Couple of friends popping in for Christmas breakfast. Work shuts down between Christmas and New Years so I plan to do a whole tonne of nothing! Probably go to the park with my wee boy and make really loud stupid noises at all kinds of stuff!

I am not going out this New Year's eve! I have decided to be a complete nanna and sit this one out! I always feel obligated to party and am done with drunk/crazy people! New Year's day I'm heading to a girlfriends house, she has a wee child too probably more making stupid noises at random stuff and a couple of glasses of bubbles!

Very much looking forward to it!

I'm off to Omaha on the 29th to hang at the bffs house for a week. She lives two streets back from the beach, so we will probably be stationed there most of the time

I suppose I sound like a whiney bitch but I was planning on being in Howick, Papakura and Mt Eden all on the same day.. haha.. thats going to be hard.. especially with a suitcase!

Doing the rounds for xmas, started on Sunday... Shapeshifter in Matakana on the 29th, then up to Moureeses Bay (Whananaki) on the 30th for a week. BLISS! Then just taking it easy until I go back to work on the 9th...

In fairness, visiting two distant corners of the city (and Mt Eden) on a normal day with normal PT timetable is going to suck enough balls anyway. Doubly fucked on Christmas! (Also this should hopefully be the last major shutdown of the rail network at Christmas - it's happened every year for the last few years because of the massive amount of major works going on with Project DART and the like. *Maybe* one more next year but I doubt it.

Well I don't know now, father is being a emo cunt and ruining my xmas. Looks like I will be spending xmas morning with mum & family and then the rest of the day is free. Might get really drunk and watch xmas movies and eat my ham.

I was thinking about boxing day races, could be fun if the weather is good.

I'm glad I"m not the only one sitting NYE out..I used to get the worst F.O.M.O feelings.. in case I missed something really cool but meh not really anymore who cares ssdd plus my liver will thank me ahhh getting old is kinda cool I appreciate down time so much more than having to be here there and everywhere.

Though I really want to go to Mangawai in the new year sometime when people start going back to work.. hire a batch and chill out up there.. ahhh bliss.

Brunch and drinking with flatmates on Xmas, warehouse party at a friend's place on Boxing Day and Edinburgh for Hogmanay again.

Christmas eve at Red Bar with my chosen famz, then Chrissy day with the actual fam. A week in AK hanging with all my bebs (hope to see some of you!) then back to Welli to play High Calibre for new year and hang with the crew that is descending from all over the world. Festive season win!

Well I think I just booked the only room left in Raglan this year....the top floor of the pub. We're driving up on the 30th, one night somewhere still to be determined on the way, and probably a few days in the Coromandel afterwards.

Apart from that Xmas day will be boring family stuff, but I have brewed a metric fuckton of beer to the occasion and it's fucking tasty, so excited about cracking a few of them open

Im planning a xmas day assault on the rebel base in Leigh. They wont be expecting it....xmas and all that.
I have to take my son along as its a "take your child to work day", should be fun tho, Ill be proud to see him take down his first Jedi. Might even give him some new holo crystals for his lightsabre.

Then off home to spit roast the ewoks Ive hopefully just butchered.

Heading to London from Verona on Xmas Eve for Xmas with a good friend and some others... will be catching up with various people in London i haven't seen for ages, then doing something NYE... not quite sure whats been planned yet but guess i will find out soon. Will prob go somewhere for a few days after that before I head back to Italy.

Going to be my first holiday season in northern hemisphere, and so strange not planning to be at the beach or at one of the music festivals!
