Pioneer head unit won't eject cd

I have a pioneer DEH-P4650MP head unit that won't spit out a cd, won't play it either.
I've tried putting a pin into a little hole , that I assume is the manual eject, but no go.
Any one have any ideas ?

Holding down eject bottom for about 5-10 seconds.. works on some cd players?

went out this morning and was able to eject the cd, so all is well.
