Yup - they can't extend past a vertical line at the right hand edge of the steering wheel, I think.
A friend of mine was failed for it in his car, but it turned out they'd measured it wrong and his gauges were fine.

I wonder if anyones been failed on a 200sx where piller mounted gauges are standard?
I spose they pass the vertical line bollcks though.

They're factory so It would be a no, but its a bit odd to fail on that rule being that you wouldnt really look at those gauges for standard road use
