I dunno if anyone else follows this so if you've all seen it, but here are some demo vids of the upcoming release. CS4 didn't do so well, Adobe seems to have stepped up.
Content Aware fill, obviously one of the flagship features judging by how it's being bandied about. But y'know, it is pretty insane:
Other things that have grabbed my attention over the last few months is the Mercury Playback engine to be used in Premiere Pro CS5 (and possibly Photoshop and After Effects, makes sense), which uses the GPU.
In the demo he has 9 layers of 1080i footage with 3D effects applied to each and it plays without pre-rendering! He then goes to colour correct and key out stuff on HD footage in real time, no pre-render.
Then he starts keying 4K footage in real time.
And of course, the appropriate apps are x64 on both mac and pc (forced a photoshop re-write on mac).
Pretty cool, and quite useful innovations.
Also spawned some piss-takes due to the disbelief of Content-Aware fill:
