Some very good tunes in there. Must say though I'm very disappointed with that Dubfire remix of Space Bird. The version that Digweed was playing was a 100 times better. Can't believe they released this version instead. Confused

Im not sure what version diggers is playing maybe the original? or his own edit?

i bought it as its very minimal and is a good tune to layer sounds over.

try this one...

System 7 - Space Bird (Dubfire Deep Space Remix)

&

Marascia, Dusty Kid - Plumbi

Thats a tune in its self.

No it has been revealed that it was another dubfire version. It was a lot more progressive sounding and a refreshing change from the same old same old sound dubfire's been pushing for the past year or so.

I must say I do quite like the original and liquid soul mixes though.

the liquid soul mix isnt bad until the annoying guitar riff comes in Crying or Very sad

yeah but would have that progressive sound sold?

Dubfire is spot on the money if your talking about keeping your finger on the pulse of what's working on the international dancefloor/trends bag
[quote]
Yeah it would have sold it was one of the most talked about tunes on digweeds essential mix.

Look I dig dubfire as much as the next guy and I know his tracks do the damage on the dancefloor but it's starting to get fucking boring no? All his tracks sound pretty much the same.

Nutshell

Anyone who is just making tunes which keep up with the flavour of the month will start to sound the same/boring quickly.

Deadmau5 anyone???

oh please Dubfire is a completely different league to Deadchessemanus5.

For starters you don't see 5 releases a week from Dubfire, his past 3 most recent remixes, the spacebird, unkle and Plastikman remixes don't sound like the same blatantly used template like Deadmau5. For fuck sakes one of Dubfire's most recent remix's was even Dubstep Laughing
[quote]
Razz You're preaching to the choir dude...I LOVE Dubfires shit, just saying that if someone is solely making 'flavour of the month' music, it can easily lead to samey-ness like Deadmau5 has.
[quote]
Oh, to add to that, I don't find Dubfire's work all that samey...a little, but not too the extremes of the deadmouse
[quote]
Yeah I do agree that dubfire is in another league to deadmau5. Still, to anyone who has heard both of his remixes of spacebird does anyone actually think the one released is the superior cut? I guess if you were a pure techno head you might, but to me it sounds nowhere near as good.
[quote]
im not into the remix of dubfire spacebird, but some of the other dubfire tunes i like. I still like some deadmau5 stuff, his tunes all sound similar for sure, but the production is good.
Am i gay for liking the new Toca me remix??? i am an old trancehead ffs

Yes. I haven't dug any of his new stuff that much.. He sounded too much like a prog guy trying to get signed to M-Nus Records to me.

Not a fan of Dubfire, just seems like like really boring music. There are some great minimal producers out there. I don't think he's quite got it. Can't fault production, just nt my style of tunes I guess.
