PHAT 09 !

New Zealand’s premier outdoor summer music festivals, PHAT 09 is unquestionably going to be the ‘place to be’ in the south island this New Years Eve.

Located in Inangahua on the west coast, this year PHAT features a divergent (and converging) line-up of internationally known top-tier drum and bass, dubstep and breaks DJs and live acts, all nicely complimented by some of New Zealand’s top roots, reggae and hip hop bands, and a horde of local DJs.

Skream; and Benga? You bet ya! Dieselboy & MC Messinian facing off against Andy C and MC Lowqui? We couldn’t have any less then that! Noisia, Breakfastaz, Lynx, Aaron Spectre, Minuit, Concord Dawn, The Upbeats and State of Mind? Hell yeah, all the DNB and breaks you can handle. Salmonella Dub, Tiki Taane, Katchafire, Olmecha Supreme and Budspells? Local music lovers; we got you!

What else you ask? Hot showers, flush toilets, licensed bars, eftpos, food stalls, free drinking water, supervised swimming holes and one hell of a light and sound extravaganza! PHAT 09!
