yo pyre is it actually peace division coming or just Clive Henry ??
[quote]
na would be nice to have both of them but, no it is just clive henry. regardlesss it is still peace division !! all be it one half of it, but at least you know it is the Djing side.

justin drake is main man behind the production side of peace division and does not DJ. However Clive does and that is why he is coming out.
They both have their niche in the partnership as you see in most production artists.

another example is john creamer and stephane k where only john tours as a dj.
and this is the samr with alot of production artists worldwide.

PEACE DIVISION INTERVIEW FROM EARLIER THIS YEAR.

DIVIDED WE STAND !!!

In an Internet café in Ibiza, PEACE DIVISION fill us in on why they’ve been revered as the next big thing to happen in the UK.
By Leigh Quimmer.

REVOLVER:
You’ve been around from the early days – what do you remember the most ?

“What I remember from the early days is being is being completely out of it !!… Seriously I remember ‘88-’89 as just a minority of people being fucking mad to this sound which you couldn’t really describe or define. It was the kick up the arse London needed, as the whole “soul scene” was so elitist. Acid house brought so many types of people together – black – white – straight – gay – football hooligans – gangsters – you name it the whole shebang, it was unreal!”

How did you get together and when ?

“Justin and I hooked up around ‘92-’93 after I heard a single he made for Andrew Weatherans label (sabre’s of paradise). It was called “painkiller”. One of my mates had it on tape when we were bombing around Ibiza one summer. It was like our official Ibiza tune! My mate knew of Justin and the co-incidentally found out he was working in the studio right underneath my girlfriend Janet’s’ office. Anyway, I approached him to see if he wanted to hook up and the rest as they say… is history!”

Your album “Junk Yard Funk” is receiving critical acclaim – how does that make you feel ?

“It makes me feel proud to say the least. Especially after 7 years of pretty low (and skint) times, when you thought, “what is the point”. We were not getting any recognition from anyone, but that just makes you work even harder to succeed – which I suppose we have now!”

What are you working on at the moment and are there any mixes for anyone large in the pipeline ?

“We’ve just completed mixes for Jody and Nick (WAY OUT WEST), fire island, agent sumo, the freak project and DJ Dan. I suppose you could call our mixes for Moby, Armand Van Helden and Trancesetters “large”! These were out earlier this year.
We have also just completed singles for Junior Boys Own new label “FUJU” under the name of Dark Daze, along with a single for Hooj Choons under the alias “Future Primitives”. When I get back from Ibiza we are going to start work on a new remix for Yothu Yindi.”

Are you heading to Ibiza this summer and what are you up to over there ?

“As it happens I’m in Ibiza right now! We are taking a month out from the studio – so I’ve taken up a residency at the Mezzanine Bar on Sunset Beach in San Antonio – playing a range of music from ambient through to deeper house vibes, - if you get to Ibiza – pop into sunset! Then I’m back in the UK for a week to do some more production and play at my UK residency at ELEMENTS. Then back to Ibiza at he end of July for a family holiday with the kids.
Back again to Ibiza in September to play Home @ Space – them more than likely back at the end of September for the Space closing party.”

Outside of music how do you spend your time ?

“Going to Tottenham hotspur Football club, looking after my children Luke and Isabella, getting drunk at the local boozer ! Nothing majorly exciting (apart form the kids of course).”

How is the UK scene at the moment in your opinion ?

“Very strong, but also very split with so many different scenes / styles. UK garage is all the rage at the moment; as is our vibe (the tribal dark side of house – without waiting to pigeon hole it).”

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in clubland ?

“Sorry to sound boring but there’s too many to mention! I could fill your magazine up with embarrassing tales, but…I won’t.”

Who is the most famous person on your mobile phone ?

“It depends on who you define as famous – Ashley Beedle, Rocky, Sasha, Seb Fontaine ? If your expecting Prince Charles / Kyle Minougue sort of famous – you’re out of luck – sorry!”

Are you heading to Australia in the near future and if so when and what can we expect ?

“We hope to come out there later this year. – Expect a lot of hangover’s / comedowns!”
