Well what music do you like... All the good clubs are inaccessible and hidden, which is good- except of course hip hop clubs which are designed to easily be found because only stupid people go to them

Oooh man where do you start – depends on what music you’re into of course but here is some:

Brown Alley
Aura Lounge (every second Friday Wink)
Circus
Chasers
Qbar
Revolver
The Croft Institute
The Boroq House
Escobar
Tilt
Lounge
E55
Room 680
161
Two Floors Up
Altitude
Famous @ QBH on Saturdays
The Loft
Seven
Viper Room
Laundry
Ffour
Metro on Saturdays
De Biers
Cushion
Robarta
The Saint
Miss Libertine
St Jeromes
HooHaa can be good & you can get a feed as well
La La Land
White Bar
Blue Bar
Ding Dong
Pony
The Imperial on Chapel
Workshop
Amber Lounge
Bunker
Platform One
Area 61
The Espy

A lot of those places I hate but I don’t know what music you like so you get a whole big list, that should keep you busy for a while J

Quite a list there Frixle! Laughing

Can't go passed Brown Alley or Lounge on a good night. Had some great nights there, quality music (house, tech, electro, minimal, breaks etc) and the peeps were all very friendly.
Seem to be some of the easier places to get into too, unlike 161 et al with their "Guest list and members only" shit even when it's early in the night and if you do manage to blag your way in you find there's only a handful of people in there! Hate that shit!

You mean your not on all the Melb "guest lists" yet Insan? I mean, common, You've been there how long now Razz

I don't bow down to their silly games! Razz

Only really go out for beers at pubs or to actual parties where you buy yourself a ticket and don't have any of those hassles.

yep like I said wouldn’t go to half of those places, but that’s all I could come up with off the top of my head haha! Melbs is too pretentious sometimes. Needs. More. Breaks.

Yeah, some places reek of pretentiousness, while others (times I've been to Lounge and Brown Alley) have had a very laxed, almost Cuba St studenty type feel to them.

If you're planning a night out of club hoping, you need to get yourself on the guest list for lots of places or you simply won't get in the door. 161, Revolver, Q-Bar, Tilt, 2 Floors Up even Brown Alley as some of the gigs they don't do tickets, but you email the people putting on the gig and get on the list and you usually save yourself some coin and any hassles too.

[quote]
