Ronski Speed (Germany)
East German producer and DJ, Ronski Speed aka Sun Decade, has created some of the most in demand tracks and remixes of the past few years. His records "E.O.S.", "Iris", "2Day E.P.", "Asarja" together with label mate Mirco De Govia, the 2005 smasher "Incognition" with Stoneface & Terminal and the Sun Decade singles "Follow You" and the groundbreaking "I'm Alone", were genuine club smashes and were hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.
Starting his musical career in 1997, the dj Ronski Speed was quickly signed to Kyau vs Albert’s brand new label Euphonic. He collaborated on productions with fellow German dj/producer, Rough Mullar, for projects like Sonorous and Barefoot Brains.
Ronski Speed saw his strongest year as a DJ during 2005. He performed in the UK (Gatecrasher, Passion, Wildchild, Dance Academy), The USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Canada, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Scandinavia and of course made appearances in his home country, Germany. There he played his first show at the well-known Nature One Festival. In March 2005, Ronski Speed played in front of a 200,000 person crowd at the Love Parade Mexico in Acapulco. Furthermore he mixed and compiled the official Love Parade CD!
In November 2005 we saw the worldwide release of his compilation CD, "Monster Series Vol.1".
Between all of his gigs, mix-cds and his monthly Radio Shows on DI.FM and ETN.FM, Ronski Speed has consistently proved his talent and skill in choosing the right tracks at the right time. As a result of this, Ronski Speed entered the tranceaddict.com top100 at #30 and the 2005 djmag top list at #119.
Ronski Speed makes his New Zealand debut at Oxygen, August 12th, 2006!
