My car is still not fixed. The alarm does not unlock my car (which also disarms the alarm). I have a problem in that the guys at this crap place (Automasters on new north rd, never go there) can't fix it cause they don't know the brand of the alarm. Neither does the guy who installed it.

My options are:

a) Get them to install a new alarm ($550 all up)

b) Get my money back from them and take my car to somewhere that can fix it

c) Get the alarm sent off to someone who can look at it but can't guarantee a fix as they don't know the brand

Help me people...I have paid $150 already, and I will be demanding this back one way or another.

What should I do??? I want my car back!

Yeah, but many car types probably won't even look at this thread. Whereas in the Car Talk forum it will be guaranteed to be looked at and it won't just drop off the front page of the forum quickly.

I agree with Blade.

A friend of mine prefers the people on the road between K Rd and Newton - I'm just double checking with him that this is the right place.
