hmmmmmmm. undecided. Prefer the current model I think.

Better headlights but the grill arrangement is a bit of a shocker, doesn't look right with the scoop, would look a lot better with a slighly deeper grill and a front mount

get used to that grill...it's the new subaru family look

speaking of imprezas, i way prefer the saab take on the current model

http://www.saabusa.com/saabjsp/92x/index.jsp

yup, it's an impreza with saab sheet metal, a few sti bits and a nicer interior. saab dealers are currently offering us$7k rebates on them since they won't sell for some reason.

Those Saabs look much nicer but are somewhat under powered.

They aren't able to make a cost effective front mount arrangement on the boxer engine

Better than the current model but don't like the clef grill.

This is true, its just sad... the WRX interwarmer has never been a good thing. EVO's are a fair bit more expensive than WRX's so maytbe thats where some of the cash goes. I still don't see how a bit more piping can be so much more expensive though.

it's the same motor as the US-spec WRX. both 227hp.

us-spec wrx sti = 300hp

The only good thing Subaru did was to be the first to break the 206kw 'gentlemans agreement' but im bias..

Well its a piece of piss in an EVO because its a traditional mount, not the whole horizontally opposed. Its expensive to kill the lag associated with the extra piping.

Not with todays turbos, its not that much extra piping if ya move a few things around, ive seen quite a few done but can't remember the specifics, not a big subaru fan so yeah dont look that closely at them
