OCTANE is back, to present another intense party with its biggest production effort to date!! The trademark HI-NRG sound and atmosphere will be in full effect over 2 rooms, enhanced by the lasers, massive lighting rig, and Live Mohawk Media visuals, not to mention the fantastic DJ lineup… Tmet recordings will be showcasing their talent in the second room, and Cosmic Corner will have products available at the venue… Galatos will be bursting at the seams for this one, so come rip up the dancefloor and have some fun!!

HIGH DOSAGE are a LIVE harddance act comprising of Terry wizz and Ryan tregurtha. Their rise in the NZ dance scene has been little short of meteoric and they have been playing to crowds all around the country. Their unique Hi-NRG sound combines the energy of hardhouse with the melody and emotion of trance, providing a perfect blend for dancefloor enthusiasts. They have gained success far and wide, being named in the top 10 up and comers in mixmag, and also having one of their tracks featured in Lisa Lashes’s Top 5 tunes of last year!! It will be their first appearance at an OCTANE event, and fresh from their success at Squeeze they are ready to deliver another blast of dynamic musicality to your willing ears. RITALIN are a new force in harddance consisting of Kyle Donegan and Dave Malcom (aka Oi). They have entered a new dimension in mixing and will be showcasing their sound at EXPANSION. So what exactly do they do…? Answer: They play simultaneously on a set of turntables each, allowing them to layer songs and create an intense and powerful performance that will drag you to the dancefloor and assault your senses. Come and behold the birth of this act.

TMet's digital dance label has been offering home-grown Kiwi dance tracks since 1st December 2003. This makes TMet Recordings one of the first digital download labels in the world selling directly from their own locally based website. The label hosts some of the biggest producers in New Zealand including DJ Baxter, Ryan Tregurtha (of 'High Dosage' fame), Focus (Nitrate), and Javed Haider the 2003 winner of Heineken Found @ Thirst NZ. TMet Launches on Tidy Digital this coming May making it NZ's leading dance music label, TMet's aim to spearhead the kiwi dance scene and put New Zealand music on the map internationally. The second level will encompass everything mash-up from house, trance, psy to hard dance featuring many exclusives from the label and beyond.
