NZ On Air funding

Ive just finished reviewing the latest funding round for up coming tv shows, and it got me thinking (cause Im not too sure some of the shows should be getting the amount they are going to receive),
if you could get a decent amount of funding for a tv show, what would your show be about?
Id probably do a Radio With Pictures type underground music show, or a "History of Musical Instruments" sort of show.
Maybe a nerd/collectors type show (LOTR's, Star Wars music toys etc.. toys and stuff that you collect).

I'd do a show that had wide public appeal in order to gain good ratings and increased funding for future seasons.

I'd film a series about Belgian tourists watching children frolic in paddling pools around NZ's smaller towns

A show on some of the basics of life and how to:

Throw a frisbee correctly
Skip a stone on water
Reverse parallel park a trailer
Navigate a large ship

NZ X-sports...surfing, skateboarding, BMX, FMX, Wake boarding etc

I'd basically just do what everyone else does and steal a concept from an overseas reality show...

I'd do a New Zealand version of The Hills, only I'd call it 'The Waitacs', and it would basically be about nothing but a lot of narcasistic drama.. oh and it would only pretend to be a reality show too, really it would be scripted as f%$#

I'd probably watch Kris's show too. Especially Nyan cat, yeah man!!!

NZ Time Team for totes. Be cool as fuck to fossick about on the taxpayers dime and hang with the heads of faculty asking them questions I'm too lazy to work out myself imo. Actually I don't even want to be in it, I just wanna watch it. Fuck yes spending taxpayer money better educating ourselves about NZ history (with specials in which we go check out business on the islands too)

Jeremy and the crew that did that series, plus birdland should be doing more and much more of these sorts of series - they are so good at it and the results timeless - a lovely tongue in cheek look at what and who we are

I'd collect Pechora's various stories of situations he gets himself into on biggie and turn it into a dark comedy. He has posted some gold here.

Maybe I'd mix it with bits from other people and some of my friends who also seem to do funny shit.

I'd like to bring surf life saving competitions back to tv. It's a great sport and needs more exposure in NZ

How to function in society once you leave the nest.

how to survive on your own
budgeting
cleaning basics like dont use the dish cloth to wipe down the bathroom you filthy cunts!

so many late 20 and even 30's people just seem to fail at lifes basics!
