Yeah, heh, thats the thing... They've been meaning to be up and running by now about 5 times since 2002 or something from memory. Several issues with hardware etc. A lot of info on them here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=85

You will see from the above that they were having all sorts of issues lifting off. But, looks like they're still going ahead. According to one of our guys here, they've already started the testing etc and comm towers are going up at a rapid rate.

Yeah exactly spike. I can't stand Vodafone. But I also can't stand pre stone age handsets that Telecom are offering.

Not really dude but these guys have been trying to get something up and running for who knows how long. And they are not the only ones! Talk is cheap ...

When they have something I can buy, I will look.

Who else has tried? Agree, NZ is one of the toughest places to do this. I'm just glad these guys are still trying.

From what i know they will be up and running about April-June next year. They have just hired some key positions eg Aquisitions manager and others so image the works are in progress.
