I realise most CA War Mongers wont give a damn..............but this going to be massive in Australia

Latest news is "physical evidence" backs up the girls claims leading to one player already admitting to having "Consensual sex" with her

Bulldogs management have threatened that players involved......... even if cleared............will be dumped

Bet the odds on them taking out the premeirship have taken a tumble Wink

I always wonder why people in such a media spotlight would even consider doing things that *may* be considered risky let alone things that are going to look bad no matter what.
[quote]
I heard that the same team in the same hotel had the same allegation laid with the police 2 years ago.
They were cleared due to "lack of evidence". No players as far as I'm aware were ever punished.
[quote]
In that case a 43 year old women had sex with a player.............and then awoke to find a different player having sex with her while another different player again looked on

waiting his turn no doubt

Some league players are animals, locals no exception
[quote]
Why people think the thugs who inhabit the world of rugby league should suddenly turn into charming role models just cos they earn 6 figure salaries and are on TV beats me...
[quote]
Yeah the Bulldogs normally stay at the totra lodge in upper hutt when ever they play the warriors in wellington, & a couple of chicks I know have said they walk in to the pub there & think the can just walk up to a chick & take her home...........

Badgers

interesting tho................cos that attitude would have been manifested by their experiences at home

I worked at The St Kilda football (aussie Rulz) Club In melbourne and I can report the Aussie footy groupie are good looking, fully forward and absolute slappers.

A couple worked with me and they thought nothing of handing these guys who were RESERVE GRADE sex on a plate

Its not quite the same here............I been on the piss (like most of us Im sure) at the same place as the revered All Blacks and few girls will act this way
[quote]
I'm not saying that there aren't slappers in NZ that would jump at the chance, just not the chicks that told me
[quote]
and I guess what Im saying is the sport-groupie culture is a lot healthier...........if thats the right word Wink ............in Australia and SA than it is in NZ.

Im not convinced Kiwi girls are less slapperish either............not sure what it is........critical mass? Smile

Im thinking Bryan Young on that SA tour btw

It seems there is an emerging pattern internationally of this sort of behaviour, I wonder why?

This kind of behaviour is an absolute disgrace.

Massive doesn't describe it. Its been a media frenzy. There's been a bulldog player that went to the press (anonomously) and told tales of regular "gang bangs" and of a points system where you'd get points according to what the chick was like, what you did, and who else you "shared" her with.

DNA samples are being taken, and another woman from an incident last year has come back into the press about it, furthering the furore.

As my flatmate (a rugby player himself - socially for a club though) "most league players aren't great role models, I mean, they're about the 2nd or 3rd generation of their family to walk fully upright."
[quote]
Adam Parore was on radio sport this morning discussing this and he reckons that cricketers are inherently selfish and wouldnt share before, during or after

Obviously they still got a lot of groupies but none of the gang bang stuff

Thats the bit that gets me too.................I can kinda understand (ok without saying I would actually do it) them all having "a turn" as such...............popping in and out of a room..........but this lining up and standing there watching each other and masterbating away shit is really sick

Did you see Darren Lockyers joke about this.

In the 1950-60's St George won 11 premierships in a row and won of their great players was Johnny Raper, so lockyer said

quote:
"St George won 11 premierships with one Raper, imagine how many Canterbury are going to win,"

what a dickhead. Its the sort of thing you might say to your mates, not something you say in public though. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

"The Bulldogs have been fined $150,000 and ordered to implement cultural change - including their treatment of women - or be hit with a further $350,000 penalty.

Just a day after police announced that no charges would be laid against Bulldogs players accused of pack-raping a woman at Coffs Harbour, the National Rugby League imposed the fine last night and said the money would be invested in research into attitudes towards women, and to provide education and awareness courses.

NRL officials and police were clearly unimpressed by the claim of the Bulldogs chief executive, Malcolm Noad, who said on Tuesday night: "Let's believe nothing happened in Coffs Harbour."

What a cock this Noad guy is..............lets believe nothing happened?

apparently quite a bit of the girls story didnt stack up, she named players who could prove they werent present etc etc etc

wonder if there were any Kiwi boys in the 6 accused.........
[quote]
It seems a bit rough to fine them that much if charges were never proven.
[quote]
Its for the way the players behaved towards the women. What they admitted was what got them fined. The whole club has shown what a bunch of cocks they are, apart from noads comments, willie mason was acting like they were all so innocent, bullshit. There was not enough evidence to proceed to prosecution, thats all. Makes you think willie was likely one of the 6, lucky hes an aussie not a kiwi, I'm pleased now he opted for them no matter how good a player he is.

This whole thing shows how hard it is to prosecute in gang rape situations. If all the guys get their story sorted out it ends up as one persons word against 6 others and its almost impossible to win, especially if there was even some element of consent involved, eg. happy to sleep with one guy.

I reckon it's pretty soft for the police to call it off...

Yet you have other scandals in other sports that you can never hide...
