I always wonder why people in such a media spotlight would even consider doing things that *may* be considered risky let alone things that are going to look bad no matter what.

I heard that the same team in the same hotel had the same allegation laid with the police 2 years ago.
They were cleared due to "lack of evidence". No players as far as I'm aware were ever punished.

In that case a 43 year old women had sex with a player.............and then awoke to find a different player having sex with her while another different player again looked on

I worked at The St Kilda football (aussie Rulz) Club In melbourne and I can report the Aussie footy groupie are good looking, fully forward and absolute slappers.

A couple worked with me and they thought nothing of handing these guys who were RESERVE GRADE sex on a plate

Massive doesn't describe it. Its been a media frenzy. There's been a bulldog player that went to the press (anonomously) and told tales of regular "gang bangs" and of a points system where you'd get points according to what the chick was like, what you did, and who else you "shared" her with.

apparently quite a bit of the girls story didnt stack up, she named players who could prove they werent present etc etc etc

wonder if there were any Kiwi boys in the 6 accused.........

It seems a bit rough to fine them that much if charges were never proven.

Its for the way the players behaved towards the women. What they admitted was what got them fined. The whole club has shown what a bunch of cocks they are, apart from noads comments, willie mason was acting like they were all so innocent, bullshit. There was not enough evidence to proceed to prosecution, thats all. Makes you think willie was likely one of the 6, lucky hes an aussie not a kiwi, I'm pleased now he opted for them no matter how good a player he is.

This whole thing shows how hard it is to prosecute in gang rape situations. If all the guys get their story sorted out it ends up as one persons word against 6 others and its almost impossible to win, especially if there was even some element of consent involved, eg. happy to sleep with one guy.

I reckon it's pretty soft for the police to call it off...

Yet you have other scandals in other sports that you can never hide...
