Nrgize
Ilogik (UK - Exclusive Tech Trance Set)
Greg Churchill (5 x NZ #1 DJ)
Timmy Schumacher (NZ Breaks Pioneer)

Saturday May 17
Ministry Complex

Internationally respected and locally loved, Nrgize returns to the Ministry to bring you your first full spectrum experience of 2008. Cutting edge production and big room beats have cemented Nrgize as the definitive multi genre event for dance floor connoisseurs, and the capacity crowds at our sell out gigs are testament to the longevity and quality of these events.

Our commitment to innovation sees a new dimension brought to the Nrgize experience as we invite Aotearoa's headlining DJ’s to perform two 1.5 hour
sets in the Main room and Propaganda Bar and show why they’re considered the pioneers and leaders of NZ’s club scene.

Ilogik
Ilogik is one of, if not, the most innovative and technically gifted dj’s the hard dance scene has to offer. His unique talents both as a globally successful dj and prolific producer have meant he is one of the most in demand djs on the planet. To see him in action leaves many djs in awe of his skills behind the decks and his showmanship in front of a crowd.

His productions have been in the world’s best djs boxes for much of the past 17 years and his successful record labels, Elasticman and Elasticman platinum help to keep him at the forefront of the industry.
He is constantly pushing the boundaries and wanting to further his skills with new tricks, also renowned for his famous scratch techniques and now showcasing the new Pioneer djm800 to awesome effect.
To witness Ilogik Live is an absolute must!

Greg Churchill
“ One of the best producers I’ve heard in the 21st Century” – Carl Cox

Voted NZ’s #1 DJ no less than five times in a row, Greg Churchill is undoubtedly the Godfather of the New Zealand House scene. Starting out almost 20 years ago in what was then a very sleepy Christchurch, Greg’s talents both behind the decks and in the studio have cemented his worldwide reputation and lead to the planets biggest names in dance music
tipping their hats to Mr. Churchill’s distinctive dirty house sound.

Greg’s first release on Darren ‘Underworld’ Emerson’s legendary label enjoyed a total of 4 weeks in the UK Top 100 Pop charts, a feat only equaled by two other NZ based local artists, Concord Dawn and OMC, as well
as peaking at #3 in the German Club charts. Greg’s “Midas Touch” continued with his follow up “Infused Trash” featuring on Slinky’s Trans Atlantik mix cd and receiving plays from Progressive legends like Sasha and Digweed to Carl Cox and even Anne Savage! The accolades continued to flood in with
his Gung Ho release being picked up by MTV Europe, Radio 1 and ultimately signed to Ministry of Sounds 15th Year Anniversary compilation. This lead to Ministry of Sound approaching Greg to mix their latest mix series which went on to become compilation of the month in DJ Magazine.

With a debut artist album scheduled for release mid 2008 and annual trips to the UK and Australia this veteran of forward thinking sound shows no signs of slowing, come and find out why Greg Churchill is NZ’s #1 DJ.

Timmy Schumacher
Timmy remains the pioneer of breakbeat in Aotearoa with 18 years of undying service, smashing clubs, festivals and radio transmitters apart with his fearsome mixing skills and secret artillery of hot tunes. During this time he has played to massive numbers in the Big Day Out’s Boiler Room, supported the Chemical Brothers in front of 4000 heaving fans at
North Shore Stadium and rocked it to over 5 thousand sun baked beat freaks on two occasions at the Auckland bFM Summer Series.

Timmy holds down a residency with Auckland’s bFM radio and has supported such acts as Adam Freeland, Freq Nasty, Rennie Pilgrem, Freestlyers, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Tayo, Breakfastaz, Aquasky and even Moby!
To this day, Timmy’s maxim remains the same: consistent shows, flowing sets, uncompromising selections and responsive playing for the crowd.

warpTV
Tim Ether has performed at events across New Zealand and internationally for over 13 years. Supporting a huge number of local and international
artists across all genres, warpTV can often be found touring with Shapeshifter, Salmonella Dub, and Tiki - and also at Remix’s “OurHouse”, Phat Outdoors and Splore.

warpTV has a unique visual style, mixing a huge variety of video samples, 3D animation and Motion Graphics - all in realtime - to create the
ever-evolving, always original, video mix.
