Now that Sample Gee is leaving....

Just interested to know, who is going to be taking over the production of New Zealand's Trance compilation albums? what will happen to the Successful albums such as Largared etc.....

Is New Zealand Trance gonna take a different direction now that Sample Gee is leaving?
Is his departure a step forward or a step backward for New Zealand Dance music?

A step forward I think personally. Sample Gee was the first....not necessarily the best. Another will take his place....hopefully (I'm gonna get burnt here) with a slightly less arrogant demeanour.

SG has done well...full power to him. However, I would be very sceptical about NZ's dance scene if it was to collapse after his departure. The guys music is nothing special.....although his promotion...self and otherwise has seen him succeed.

I think that Quamay is the best Trance DJ to take over Sample Gee.

Whack on a up and comer like General Lee. Theres no point putting on someone who has already established themselves cos they will move on to quickly.

he is movn to aussie to be the head of what he is now aint he? so naturally he'd still do the same job just get payed more for it i suppose

He`ll release to both the Australian and NZ market now i pressume. His departure gives someone else a chance to take centre stage. Love him or hate him he definately helped grow the market for dance music in NZ, got to thank him for that.
