Nexus Biggies holidays?

What are nexus biggies doing in terms of seeing the countries they're living in? or seeing countries nearby?

I've got a trip home coming in a few months. Haven't got out of sydney enough. Not at all. But I'm making an effort now - Cronulla! (*shudder*)

I'm going to the gold coast in November for INDY! and the V8s! Friend has an apartment that sits inside the course, right on the most tretcherous corner! Beers, Babes, and fucking fast cars! sounds like a good boys weekend away to me!

What y'all got up to so far? what you got planned?

Im going back through se asia in september, and hopefully move to london at the end of the year, then i MAY even head back to NZ (via the trans sib railway) well ill defiantly be doing the trans sib, but i might fly back to London instead and flag NZ, from beijing after seeing some of china..!!

this of course all depends on the £.....!!!

April - 3 day tour around Southern Ireland for Easter
May - Czech Rep (Prague) for a weekend
June - Ibiza!!!! For a week.
July/August - various Europe
October - Meeting friends in Spain
November - 10 day tour + dive course in Egypt
NYE - Scotland

May - works taking me on a round Aussie trip so Im doing Queenland, NSW, and South Australia.

July - home for a few days

September - Thailand

Next July... all things going well... England, Greece and the rest of Europe!

next month surfers for a week

then thailand for a night

then london and the rest or europe

then of to amsterdam for a week hoilday with heaps of old freinds and workmates in september

I think the most important question is how much do these holidays cost!!!??? These are prices for my holidays...including car hire, hotels and flights.

Mind u, I'm only playing flights ($150-$200 aud), food and linen ($40) for a weekend on the gold coast.... long weekend.... oh yeah, plus booze and entertainment. which is mint.

Just booked 9 days in Holland over Easter and its costing me £70 all up

10 days in the scottish highlands starting this sunday - less than £200 travel, accom and everything else.
end of may - Crete
sometime in the next two months, italy, sweden and paris

Athens in August to check out some Olympic action

Egypt probably at the end of the year, hopefully do an 8 day cruise down the nile and see the pyrimids etc

And a massive tiki-tour to everywhere else on the way home

Domino: GUTTED! I paid about $600NZ when I went to Singapore ..... but a one way ticket from NZ to Japan on Jan 5 was $1500

My mates in London say you can pretty much travel from London and basically pay next to nothing

Its wierd you know, a lot of the British will go on holiday a few times a year, every year....to THE SAME PLACE. You'll say 'so where have you been in Spain?' and they reply...for example...'Madrid'. And you say 'and?'...and they say 'Madrid, thats it'.

Its seems to only be the non british that travel to all different parts of a country whether it be on or off the beaten track.

Plus wherever they go they ALWAYS try and hunt down English food...like english breakfast etc.

Why do you reckon that is?

Yanks in Japan are just like that with food ......

Tokyo has really good Japanese AND international food but they'll walk for ages just to find an american restaurant or wendys
