www.thestandard.org is I think run by a bunch of EPMU & Labour party activists and is a good read.

http://norightturn.blogspot.com is as it says, Irredeemably Liberal. Its also by far the best site for insightful stuff on climate change.

http://hot-topic.co.nz/ is the best climate change website.

http://thehandmirror.blogspot.com/ is a collection of feminist bloggers which features some excellent writing.

http://readingthemaps.blogspot.com/ is a good old fashioned and rather bracing Marxist site.

Although blighted by a somewhat strange climate change denial, http://poneke.wordpress.com/ is excellent.

http://fundypost.blogspot.com/ pokes sarcasm at local fundys.

www.theoildrum.com has lots of stuff on fossil fuels.

I must admit I am tired of PAcurrently, some great discussion and some blogs (southerly) I rate very highly but I am over Russell's constant banging of his own drum

I think public address is full of 30 and 40 somethings who can't admit they've got complacent and out of touch. I get particularly annoyed with the wollowing in musical nostalgia under the guise "how cool are we still" that goes on.

I quite like the musical stuff, reminds me of when I was younger and what I was listening to then... shame they like so many other so called 'hipsters' gave up on music in their early 20s
