2003 was a huge year at Fu, and a big year in the world of urban underground dance sounds, hence we wanted to bring a night that reflects the great array of sounds that were on offer over the past year.

The night is tailored to make sure that punters have a night to remember, with an entry price that won’t break the bank.

We have organized a line up to maximize your listening pleasure, featuring the finest selectors in the realms of Hip Hop and Drum and Bass, our two strongest genres.

We have two zones of entertainment this year: The Major Flavours /S.A.S Hip Hop Room and the Amen Drum and Bass Room. The highlight this year is the acquiring the ‘Major Flavours/S.A.S Showcase’ for the bill, the showcase will be held in FU and will feature a 4 hour set of ‘the best of 2003’ selections by DJ’s Sir Vere, Ali (Chch) and Shan (Dndn) with MC Savage (Deceptikonz). DJ Devious (USA) and DJ Logikal will also be providing their DJ services and skills to the Showcase.

The Amen drum and bass room features the crème of local drum and bass dj’s Presha, Pots (Bulletproof), Phantom, Omen and Climate alongside the emerging talent of ‘The Split Crew’. The best drum and bass line up on offer anywhere in the city!

As you can see, the lineup offers something to all connoisseurs of true urban sounds.
