New Years eve 2004

So whats everyones plans for new years this year?

staying in London or wherever home is atm or going away somewhere?

Hogmany sounds like a wiked time, as does Prague, both chilly that time of year though!

Mabey Miami or Vegas although you would be forking out the big bucks!

Although its been over two years since i arrived on UK soil, i've never had a Xmas or New Years here, but that might change this year... not sure what i'll do though. Wouldn't mind getting out though, maybe somewhere like Spain is a possibility??

And I was back in NZ for 7 weeks when the second one happened (ie. new years just gone), which was swell also.

I'll probably be in sydney. I'm gonna be working thru christmas, so may not have a choice.
I quite like the idea of hiring a beach house with a bunch of friends tho.


Most likely though is that I'll have my summer holiday late jan and head back to nz

I might see if I can get some fieldday tickets and sell them for millions

or actually go, and see what all the fuss is about

mate, we did that last year, rented a house @ Pukehina (between Whakatane & Tauranga on the coast) it was a brandnew bach with huge floor to ceiling ranch sliders that opened right up and a breakfast bar where we put the decks facing the ocean, it was amazing, $1800 for 7 nights.

We were in Amserdam for New Years just gone, and it fucking rocked! It's a totally different new years culture to what you know.

Because they don't celebrate Guy Fawkes, they let all their fireworks off at new years!!

Plus you can sample all the other delights that go hand in hand with the dam!!

Was it very cold there at that time of year mate?
