Just a little review from myself going over the basics of this unit.

Will be doing a follow up as I get to know it a bit better.

Clickly the picky..

i have this controller ..however where are you getting that initial setup screen you had from? was it included in the software with the controller or is this somehow accessible from the controller or a downloadable piece of software from novation??

I have live 6 and have also tried getting auto map to do its thing but have found this frustrating you mention template 38? how do you choose the template and have i missed something fundemental here.
wish these damn things came with a bloody manual!

If its not on the 'Automap Template' its not going to work.

Also, I assume you have installed the automap software on the computer?

trying to learn live 6.0 at same time doesnt make it easier lol
but it works all the flangers and eq's and I have the track warp almost sussed in live...

how do you save the tracks once you have warped them?

I am a little lost on that one and i assume for mixing a mix on it you load up say audio 1 and audio 2 and just switch between and mix with the novation after you have warped all the tracks to beat you want and simply record the mix master out?



How do i get it to assign the pads to drum beats do i have to put it into learn mode??
maybe a few more hours on it will help
