new tipper album "wobble factor"

love the name wobble factor!

album any good, was really impressed with Tipper when he played live a few years back. the guy really had his own sound nailed down.

the album is pretty dope

although it's not really very varied at all

all mid tempo wobblers

not my fav tipper of all time, but love the way he just does his thing

can only help but think he's been influenced by the whole dubstep thing cuz there's very few dancefloor tunes on here

Not your standard 12 inch stuff no... But he has made loads of this sorta stuff before... When dave brought him over years ago I got to chew his ear off for a bit before the gig... He was such a ggood cunt... He gave me about 9 gig of hip hop wobble stuff just like this stuff... heaps of it I had/have never heard before, all originals.... the guy has so much output its stupid

actually... 9 gig is a gross overstatement... its was more like 2 or 3... there was alot on there though... most of it you definately wouldnt play to your grandma.

yeah but come on there's still room for those mind bending breaks he used to make - i just expected a little more variance

really like it, but as Timmy aluded to not much variation. Def dubstep influence, but not fair to say thats the reason theres no dancehall smashers, plenty of big tunes in dubstep

its more up front uptempo ..

funnily enough, if you drop too much uptempo 'nuskool' in the USA chances are you'll clear the floor.

dont know if you'd call this album 'dub step' really, but always Tipper seems to stubbornly avoid 'genrification' wherever possible ..
