These features are reinforced by BMW M’s floating compound high-performance braking system, originally conceived for the BMW M3 CSL, resulting in a 62mph to zero stopping distance of just 34 metres..."

Yeah, but with a couple of spectacular exceptions - the recent M3 and the old M roadster - the big thing being the gills in front of the doors on the roadster - so phattttt.

The RX7 is is a completely different league to the M Roadster, it is as PFunk said a very 15yo thing to do, comparing 0-100 or quarter-mile times.

I think they look a bit edgey but all round not bad, I can't argue with the NA performance but I'm a turbo man myself, BMW's don't have turbos so you see the predicament... the only NA car im keen to own is a rotary

Personally im all for forced induction hell im about 6 weeks away from Supercharging mine. (parts arriving in time for Xmas) My personal preference is about build qaulity, hence why I got mine.

it's a pretty widespread opinion. very much love it or hate it.

Its all about teh 5th gear now ... top gear while funny has pasts its used by date.

I dont think they are dead and buried just yet, I didn't think a lot of 5th gear, most decent cars have 6 gears anyway
