New in London

Just arrived two days ago from Melbourne, prior to that I was in Wellington!

Living in Wimbledon and working as a nanny but don't know much about the area. Also don't really know anyone here.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Heresy, I didn't know you were comming over. You kept that one quiet! Nice to know some more people are comming. Since I arrived almost a year ago, I have had a number of friends who I knew prior to arriving leave, but no friends or even acquaintences come over!

Drinks is a great idea - long over due. It would be good to squeeze them in before Easter if possible. I'd prefer Thurs 5th, have plans on the 4th.

Thursday 5th is Thirsty Thursdays at Freedom. I think you should all come for a drink with me there!!! I'm not sure what DJs are playing on that date yet but it's always a good night.

I'm also meant to be going to 414 that night for Alumni so I think I might pop into Alumni first then go to Freedom.

Scatter - I'm out at Turnmills this Fri and Sat night plus out next Fri at Hidden if you want to "start" getting amongst it!!!

Scatter - come along to Hidden next Friday with me and Suzy. Suzy knows all the Harder Faster crew and is very good at introductions! Stevo might be joining us too but he doesn't know it yet. Vauxhaul is not too far from Wimbledon.

One more thing - I bought mixmag today and there is a Gatecrasher on the Bank Holiday Sunday 27th May. 5pm - 6am. Suzy and others, what do you reckon? When do you actually fly out? That could make for some serious carnage.

TS - yup, I think it will be my last Thirsty Thursday. It will be a very drunken Suzy that night!!! Are you def coming to Hidden with me?? can you cope with the hard house? altho the electro will help. you can come and help me perv on Kevin Energy!! I kinda have to behave myself that night as I'm meant to be catching the train to Folkstone about lunch time on the Sat. eek!!!

Suzy - I would much rather go to Steve Lawler but I dont think anyone else is keen. It said on HF that is was all sorts of music although I did note that it is a Frantic event. If there are severals rooms I assume it wont all be hard house in which case I am keen. Are any other harder fasters going that I would know?

If it turns out it's not your cup of tea it's easy to get the night bus from Vauxhall station into town. I will TRY to leave by 3am ish because of Folkestone but we all know what happens when I get into the spirit of things!!

hiya TS yep I'm here! Arrived on Wednesday. Stayin in Fulham at the moment till I find a room to move into. Sounds like some people here know where to go to have fun! I'm still getting the hang of things, first things first (finalising my bank account, cell #, figuring out how the whole tube thing works)
