new domain + configuration

Does anyone know the best place to register a .co.nz domain name? This place (LINK) seems pretty cheap, and AFAIK one registrar is as good as another.

I have a .com domain now, and I want my site to respond to requests to .com and .co.nz. Does anyone know how to configure this using cPanel? I have access to the hosting control panel.

I have access to the hosting control panel, and I seem to be able to change loads of things in there. Is that the same thing? I'm not 100% up to speed with DNS.

So you're all saying that it does matter who you register your domain with? What if you want to set it once then never again?

you can pretty easily transfer to other registrars once you've registered
