Hi! My friend Vicki Carr just visited me from NZ and we had a good chat about whether I can still be fashionable at 56!! Well, I don't want to appear as mutton dressed as lamb, but also don't want to be thought of as "square"!
So.. I have a voucher for FC and need a pair of jeans- this is the choice-

Now the particular event i want to be dressed for is a bit tricky.. it's an all-day (well 1pm to 11pm) jamaican music festival called "One Love" in Wembley Arena in London. It's a celebration of Bob Marley's passing some 30 years ago, Now I am white, but still like the Jamaican articts who will be there: Etana, Sean Paul, Shaggy and some of the Marley sons. But it being bad that I'll probably stick out a bit anyway being a) old and b) white and c) shaven-headed... what jeans should I buy to blend in.. but still show an individual style? I think I have my T-shirty sorted... the Ganja leaf motif! Ha Ha!
