I can imagine.

You want our opinions on whether you had a good night? Razz

I'd be into that combo for sure.

so who's going to do it?

in seperate rooms maybe they could compliment each other quite well. back to back though, personally, i would find very off-putting. i would'nt stick around for that at all! personally i dont enjoy dancing (and rarely listening) to breaks. it would frustrate me no end going from one to the other etc. id be interested to know what this 'techno' dj played. my opinion is that this combo would only work for those who liked both genres or ppl who are there just to party and care less about whats playing.
if your into it though then cool, cant knock you for having a great time.

i would leave a.s.a.p if a dj dropped some breaks after techno. i've had to do just that several times here in AK.

Yes, one wouldn't want to pollute the higher purity of techno with any of the other, lesser forms of electronic music - it'd lead to the dilution of the race! sorry, genre!

i've got nothing against the dilution/fusion of the genre's. its more of a personal thing, i find the breaks very dull, its not fot me...
dont mind electro and a bit of tech-step.
one would'nt want to be mistaken for a music facist!

Music facists in the techno forum? Who'd have thought?

my fave club in Melbourne was Fokus - one floor of breaks, one floor of tekno

it worked well but we never did back to back

we did have breaks DJs comig upstairs & dropping tekno sets and tekno DJs heading downstairs to do booty bass & electro sets tho
