Mystic Forest 2008!


Mystic Forest is set in the lush surroundings of Orton Bradley Park, about 30 minutes from Christchurch. Nature takes care of the decor with huge trees, beautiful flowers, a sparkling stream and a mystical winding pathway leading you to a dancefloor set in the centre of a forest.


With 3 zones including a David Attenborough Cinema – Playing the greatest documentaries known to humankind, from everyone's favourite animal lover... A Market Chill Zone – Sit down, relax in the Cosmic Tipi with a Kombi Coffee and enjoy the surreal psybient soundscapes hand-picked from the Psy Central library. And finally the Dance Zone – this year, Mystic Forest is very proud to present Urban Notion, the hardest working Drum 'n' Bass crew in the country and L'Ocean,Christchurch's underground Jazz/Funk/Fusion legends. With Support from an eclectic line up of outdoor professionals...

From Governor's Bay, head roughly 7.5km to Charteris Bay (en route to Diamond Harbour) and then follow the signs.

Other Information:

Mystic Forest is an alcohol free event. ROAR. There will be food, beverages, toilets and plenty of room for camping on site. Bring warm clothes and water. Stay safe and have fun!
