2 x Technics 1200 Mk II & 350 Tunes up for grabs

(includes owners manual)

Everything negotiable.

I'm going super lightweight ninja styles.

I'm keeping my mixer, slipmats, head shells.

I'm letting go of a whole bunch of House, Techno, D&B,
Hip Hop, Electro, and Rare groove business.

I'n not getting right out. I will be travelling the North Island
until I have cleared out my quota. Gig bookings will earn
20% Agent fee.

I am coming into Hamilton on Thursday to do a radio show with
PJ on Max, and staying the night. Will bring in some stuff
to trade - All plates played on air will be available
immediately after ther show at a one time ofer of $5 per
plate. Will be available Thurs arvo for pre sale inspection
and in Hamilton at least until Friday lunch time.

Register your interest or place specific orders now online,
or if you have my details, then I guess you've got a go
direct status.

Got an offer on the table at the moment. Make a counter offer and I'll Let you know. It's first in best dressed, no reserve.

I worked my butt off to buy them brand new in 99, over the years they have more than paid for themselves, and now its time to travel, so I guess the question is : how hungry are you, what's that worth?

PM me or email.

Down to about 280 tunes now - have more or less 1 bin the breaks kids might like. Doing an Auckland mission next week, but I'll be in Rags for Sat - Mon.

In Hams Thur-Fri - got some downbeat, dnb, and rare chemical brothers on me. Tune into Qbik & HSDs' Show on Max tonight.

Peace

CLARITY

I've had mixed responses to this post when I've been out and about.

FAQ

Q) Are you crazy?

A) Yes. Look at the world we live in, if you're not crazy you must have problems. The main issue I am combating is apathy - I'm sure anyone who has spent time in Hamilton is familiar with apathy.

Q) How much do you want for your turntables?

A) Originally I set no reserve, and gave an open offer to users of this forum to make their own minds up what they were willing to pay. I was thinking about NZ$1,300 would be OK, one guy has offered me NZ$1,00. I've since considered it more thoroughly, and have now placed them on Trade Me where they seem to average about NZ$850 a piece s/h or NZ$1249 a piece new. I paid NZ$2548 for them in April 1999. A friend of mine was more than happy to pay NZ$1,600 three years ago for a similar deal. I think the new offer is fair to the buyer and the seller.

Q) Have you given up DJing?

A) No. I'm keeping my mixer, and headshells. I have other record players on hand to listen to my vinyl. I am keeping a large chunk of my collection, but I have been trading vinyl for the last four months, and thought I'd pass on some deals to Hamilton DJs old and new alike, since there is no longer a record store to service the market. I am pursuing bookings locally personally, and have a business partner who is helping me in the Auckland scene, but will consider out of town agents offers on a 20% split of my fee, which is a good rate for an agent.

Q) So what vinyl do you have?

A) I've got mixed bins of stuff, I'm writing a full list at the moment, and should be done later in the week.

Q) Do you have a crack habit?

A) I understood this to mean 'P', as crack cocaine is not a common thing in this part of the world. The short answer is NO. I have been offered the substance on several occasions, and have not tried it. I have never purchased it. I do not intend to try or buy. To go one step further, I have a T-Shirt that says 'Pointless' which I was asked to wear at gigs by a Wellington radio station about this time last year. I do wear the shirt at gigs.

Q) Do you got any trips for sale?

A) No.

Q) What are you going to do with the money?

A) Not that it should be anyone's business to know how I spend my money, but, I'm going travelling. I can't take my turnies with me, so I might as well use the cash to fund my journey. I want to go through Melbourne up to the UK to see the family castle, and catch up with some of the originators of the Hamilton electronic music scene who are still active in the London underground rave scene.

Q) When are you going?

A) At this rate, not any time too soon. I'd like to enjoy this coming summer in New Zealand.

Sekure was the jam ya'll.

A quiet and cold H-Town Wednesday was nicely remedied by class service from Mr McLeod, and the fine company of some veteran hospo crew. I had the fun-est coffee-ninja session I've had in a long time. Looking forward to next time, will keep yers posted.

Chur.
