.MPGs that won't render.....

I've installed the following codec packs:
nimolitepack10.exe
ac3filter_0_68b.exe
Gordian.Knot.Codec.Pack.1.6.Setup.exe
to no avail.

G-Spot only appears to work properly on AVIs and a couple of others that aren't .MPGs....is there an app or a way to find out what codec(s) I need for these videos?

One of them is quite large and the other is quite hard to get so I'd like to get them going if possible!

errr .mpg shouldnt need codec....
maybe try installing Indeo? thats about the only thing i can think of.
ive had problems with that codec

Have you tried alternate players? It may be a problem with WMP.

sasami2k, media player classic is a good one, winamp 5 etc.

WMP says "can't find codec", winamp 5 plays the audio but not the video

I will reinstall Media Player Classic and try that
