Motorbikes too - my freak out story

Well I was thinking we could talk about motorbikes in this area too....

I was riding back from up north yesterday morning. It was pretty wet actually, had been raining a lot as I approached the Bryndrwyns ...
I was drivin pretty slow about 80k and as I started to climb suddenly the bike just started fishtailing like a motherfucker!!!!!!!!!! Back wheel just started weavin from side to side on me. OMG
Thing is I was goin in a straight line and wasnt accelerating at all but it was on a very smooth section of ashphalt and I guess all the water on the road made the back wheel lose traction.
Fuck that was pretty scary!

one of my best friends fucked himself up good and proper on a bike (speeding, hit something on the road at night) ... it sounds like a wicked thrill but you are so unprotected!

its scary when the back of ya car comes out when you dont intend it too.. its farking pants shitting stuff when ya bike does it, wicked save man....

Yeah i have only done that road over the brynderwyns once and it was awesome...wasnt wet though...I love the feeling of that smooth ashphalt when riding.

I usually turn off at the brynderwyns as my parents live up by Kai iwi lakes and thats a good ride up through there.

Good car drive up north! Havn't really ridden a bike, no roof and panels to protect me so not overly keen hehe, its safer for everyone if I continue to drive cars

I Much prefer riding north of Aucks than south.
On a bike straights are so boring and thats all there is south.
Up north its all corners...and on a 250cc corners make the difference between overtaking and getting overtaken. Motorbike = Faster on corners

this is very true, I like going north for the corners as well, my Skyline doesn't like the real tight stuff, cars too big and the back keeps wanting to come out, but the slightly less windy stuff is heaps of fun
