Today's tune is another oldie (Im gonna leave the new stuff to you hip kids with your sharp looking haircuts)

Dave Angel "Funk Music" (Dj Tonka remix)

http://fizy.com/s/1538y8

A tune that to me says "yay its late at night, Im in the club hur-muthafuckin-ray for this music that I love!"
Yeah I know Tonka's a bit of a cheese master, but it just worked on this one.
Great riff, nice bassline, jackin open hats and rides, and a perfect vocal.
Makes me think of Mr Tenaglia's "The Better Days". Music

Gay... no, actually... it was pretty popular in clubs here when it came out.

I always loved Angel's 'Fever' - massive tune.. that tech disco sound he did was such good dance floor music.

This is one of the things I love about alot of older house is looped madness that doesnt get boring.
Nowadays people just dont do it right.
Sick tune Rob. Music

If I Ever Feel Better (Ill go to the Disco)

The original mix is by a band and not a bunch of house producers. A beautiful song that makes you think about how sweet your good friends are.
The Buffalo Bunch remix is a thumper, with pounding drums and a smack and whack bassline, underneath looped hands in the air madness!

This tune (the original) is my absolute favorite, you can not help but feel good when you hear this. I used to drop it all the time at the end of the night @ Harvesters in palmy.

Phoenix the band are also just as awesome, their album United from which the track comes from never leaves my ipod.

The latest is pretty good too. Infact their whole catalogue is kick ass!
I saw them live in Brisbane a couple of years back and they kicked my ass.
The live version of "Feel Better" was amazing.

Yea they came thu London not long ago but tix sold out pretty much straight away so missed out, totally bummed about that.

I found my present copy of this in RG welly in the cheep bins, super stoked as the one i used to have was not technically mine and it was only a couple of bucks.

Reminds me of good times in the sun listening to that Erland Oye Back to Mine.

Note to RnB artist's, this is how you use a vocoder.

Great song, funny vid, I just wish there was more Jaxxyness like this.

I love this record

Weird hearing all the sounds from the video in there without the actual video though!

Perhaps monsieur TimK could provide today's four walls and a roof, since mine are all 10 years or older.

yeah, aye! used to LOVE this tune. makes me wanna get my sway on. Cool
[quote]
Go on then!
I nearly got fired once for gettin me sway on at work, I was dancing on my desk and my boss walked in.
He was not impressed.
[quote]
your boss sounds like he does not know how to have fun, tbh.

i contemplated dancing on my desk, but as i am at school i might disrupt other students. also, i am currently attempting to persuade management to buy as beer in the afternoon to increase our productivity. so far they have declined, but i am still formulating ideas to convince them. if i dance on the table it may work to my detriment.

politics. Neutral

This seems like such an obvious Leknight track I'm worried he's posted it elsewhere already.

If nobody gives you grief, Im gonna get mad.
[quote]
Wrath is a bit strong

The nag of Websta, maybe
The whinge of Websta perhaps.

No, wrath is the word. I remember when I first met him, he whipped me like an ox. To be fair I was posting some tarded shit like "yay french house for life!!". Then I made the mistake of talking back to Rob. No mere mortal can combat those two at once!! Razz

Recognise the sample?

It's gone vocal.

Hmm.
[quote]
It has some vocal tracks in the middle

You got a problem with vocals? Do I need to call websta?
[quote]
I preferred the start to the middle few tracks is all.

A little diva for my tastes.
[quote]
Mine too actually Smile

It is worth sticking it out though as the last few tracks (particularly his own productions) are really nice.
