Alonso... Cool

The dom-choppa when it comes to putting in consistently fast laps just after pit stops.

This truly has to be his single best 'secret weapon' talent. No-one can charge as fast as him with a fuel heavy car. It's earned him many pit stop overtakings and saved him from many too.

I recall James Allen acting bemused as to why the temporary darling of Britsh F1 was so far behind Alonso after his stop!

He seemed to be faster after pitting than he was before.

I'm not looking to Hamiltons first win for the sole reason that we will have to hear James Allens celebrations, and then hear about "Race Winner Lewis Hamilton" at every race from here on in.

"So tell me Martin, now Lewis has won his first Grand Prix, how will this change him as a driver?"

*Wank wank*

Huh? No, not even close if you compare to the lap times pre-pit stop a few laps before he hit traffic. The difference is over a second a lap.

Who Alonso?? I doubt it, if he was fat with fuel.

I can't even remember, but was there much difference in time with regards to the two tyre types? With both being soft compounds.

I can't believe the crap that is in the media about McLaren's radio contact with the drivers... Ron Dennis telling the drivers to 'ease it'... people are calling it team orders (illegal)... Telling a driver to be careful or ease off when he's a minute ahead of a rival team is good racecraft - to reduce errors, save the engine etc.

They're also claiming Hamilton was denied a win by the orders. WTF? Alonso was superior to Hamilton over a ten lap average in every part of the grand prix. He may not have got the fastest lap of the race but I bet he 10 of the top 20 fastest laps of the whole race.

Alonso drive a flawless race. He was insanely fast whenever he needed to be. No-one, not eve Hamilton, could touch him.

The mainstream F1 media are retarded and looking for anything to talk about after such a one-sided dominance like that.

It's this Hamilton rubbish! He's a rookie doing well and the British media saw the "team orders" as his first GP win being stolen from him. He was put in his place by the 2x WDC and I'm happy about that.

Team orders were evident between the Ferrari's in Austria as we all know. A team strategy is completely different. You have to look at the big picture and win as many races as you can. Although some people won't or can't believe it, F1 is a business first, a sport second. I don’t think all the sponsors at Monaco would be happy to see a double retirement from the McLaren's for no reason.

Alonso had the fastest lap too.

I missed that one. Make that 11 of the fastest 20 laps then..

Yeah he sure owned Hamilton there.

By the way... as I predicted, McLaren have been cleared of any 'team orders' rule infringements.

And it seems that Ralf Schumacher, despite talking his usual bollocks about how the team is improving, might be out of a drive soon.

Ralf deserves to go. Jarno is really showing him up this year.

What is the British press doing now? Talking up Hamilton to Ferrari in exchange for Raikonnen!

Slow press day?

Ron would sooner shoot himself in the face than let that happen.

Yeah the British press is mental in that regard. As for RS. He is getting paid probably the third highest salary! Why?
