Momentum Builds For Ron Paul's "Fed Transparency"

It's baby steps, of course. Paul is the sponsor of the Federal Reserve Transparency act of 2009, which demands a GAO audit of the Fed, and a full report to Congress sometime next year. And it's gaining steam. It already has 175 co-sponsors in the House, and now a major Democrat, Rep. Alan Grayson has joined on, and is urging his party colleagues to join them.

Just an update for those who are interested in this. Ron Paul's HR 1207 now has 207 co-sponsors!! and is still building momentum.

And get this: The Federal Reserve is planning to fight the tide by hiring a veteran lobbyist to “manage its relations with Congress,” according to Reuters.

The Fed plans to hire Linda Robertson, who previously worked for now-defunct energy company Enron, as well as the Clinton administration. She is currently head of government, community and public relations at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

I doubt it she can turn the tide though....

Just need rand to get on the senate and support daddy. Doubt anything will happen to the fed though, it's in the best interests of those on top to keep it.

Rep. Ron Paul now has 245 co-sponsors for the bill and has made it onto Fox News.
